CO-ED SEMINAR
In a world where teens seem to be more connected than ever before, so many are struggling with real and meaningful connection. It is in this same world, and amongst this same generation, we find teens struggling to find genuine, helpful and satisfactory answers to a growing problem; how do I find, build and navigate healthy, happy and safe relationships? Where toxic versions of masculinity and femininity are rife, how does a young person formulate a healthy understanding of their own gender and identity?
Our seminars help young people:
- Consider their decisions around sex
- Evaluate the impact of media and marketing and the way it can be affecting their understanding of themselves and the way they view relationships.
- Understand the impact pornography can have personally and relationally
- Describe the key ingredients within a healthy relationship and be aware of the things to look for in an unhealthy one
- Develop empathy in there online and offline interactions with others
- Have a correct understanding of consent
- Be empowered to make decisions that are right for them despite pressure they may face from peers
- Understand how to connect in a meaningful way with family and friends
Our seminars are designed to create opportunity for staff and students to engage in powerful group discussion that will strengthen teacher / student pastoral relationships. All of our seminars are fully supportive of each religious schools ethos in both content and approach.

GIRLS SEMINAR
A compelling series of inputs based on the best international research that explores the issues facing the students you work with each and every day. This seminar focuses on the specific needs of young women at a challenging time of their lives. It aims to address their core desires for intimacy, relationship and connection in life-giving ways rather than seeing them at the mercy of poor choices.
The aim to help young women envision and understand their true dignity and worth as women made in the image of God; deserving love, reverence and relationships of the highest quality. By making powerful use of multimedia, we explore the real issues for young women and provide compelling strategies for change.
Topics we cover:
- Womanhood– Helping young women consider where they are looking for their example of womanhood.

- Relationships – The ingredients to a healthy respectful relationship

The transition from boyhood to manhood can be challenging, confusing and scary. Damaging stereotypes suggesting manhood is about being tough, emotionless, hypersexual, and aggressive, continue to cause problems personally, relationally and culturally for young men within our society.
Through the use of stories, anecdotes, research, and a dynamic presenter, students will leave with a big choice to make; what type of man do I want to be?
